:: 2009 ::

Today is the 31st of December, in a couple of hours this years lies behind us ( here in Europe ;) at least).
2009 is done - gets archived in this thing called life.
When we remember 2009, some of us smile looking back, some can't believe, as every year, that another year has passed, some are happy that this year is over ... As for me I am thankful for this year - it was indeed one of my exciting ones and I was able to get introduced to so many new places, people, worldviews - it was great!
Sometimes I still look around and first can't believe what places I saw: Arizona, my life there with my friends and my hostfamily, the Cali trip with its beautiful sights, unbelievable Hawaii, Panama - living in this country I never thought about and then gorgeous South Africa ... first I can't believe that this was how my year looked like but then I smile in remembrance with a little tear that they are "only" memories now, pictures in my folder that is named "2009".

and then I start to wonder what 2010 holds for me ............
